As these new laptops will soon be at Barnard, we will be using this project to assess their potential life cycle while there. These laptops will be able to provide students with access to the latest technology released by Apple. Their arrival is extremely important because college students are increasingly relying on laptops for research, writing, coding, and much more. The new laptops will prove to be incredibly useful in the current environment of this pandemic. Specifically when considering low-income students who often do not have access to new technology and will be partaking in majority online learning, the necessity to rely on these technologies has become ever more vital for attending classes, working, and socializing.
